Questions: |
John, I was so happy to hear about
your web site! I feel lost and very confused about
my options. I was just reading about (several
'wonder' products)I have actually gone down to
Burbank (CA) to ********** and almost went through
with the hair system and chickened out at the last
minute. I have also contacted (a well-known hair
tranplant clinic) in Beverly hills, but pulled out
at the last minute after I read a horrible warning
about there practices. I am 44 years old, and
getting married in October. I have a large bald
spot at the crown and no hairline. there is some
left on top and plenty on the sides. I'm hoping
for redistribution surgery as this is probably my
only real solution. I realize if I can find a
surgeon I can trust there is nothing to be done
before the wedding, short of a hairpiece! I must
say I am dreading the wedding pictures!!! I have
tried Avacor to no avail. I am a tennis pro and in
the sun day in and out. I wear a hat of course but
I think the avocat reacted to the heat and I
rashed out pretty bad. I am sorry to run in like
this, but you are the first I have been able to
talk to about my problem and I hope you can advise
me on the best course of action. Jeff C, Santa
Barbara, CA. |

John, Hi, I guess I'm one of those
insecure fellows that's losing it. I'm 45 yrs and
have thinning hair. I don't have the receding
hairlines on the sides or back of the head, I'm
just thinning all over the top. What is my best
option for me. I live in Cortland New York, a
little south of Syracuse. Thanks,
Larry |

| Why We Are
Qualified to give you Advice. |
| John Vincent is one of the most knowledgeable and
respected experts in the field of hair replacement
today. Originally as a hair replacement business owner,
later as an executive in the largest clinic of hair
transplant surgeons in the world, and now as a private
consultant to individuals with hair loss problems, John
connects those with hair loss problems to the best
providers of hair restoration.
Like many in the hair business today, John started as
just another guy who wasn't happy about going bald. From
his own search for the best answer to restoring his
hairline and, simultaneously, his self image, John has
made hair restoration, his life's work.
It's estimated that billions of dollars are wasted
each year by consumers purchasing worthless products to
stop hair loss by those desperate to cure or cover up
what they consider to be an unsightly condition. Because
of erroneous beliefs about baldness, many companies that
hawk bogus services and products prey on the
misconceptions about this common affliction.
John Vincent has helped thousands of individuals
regain an appearance they're pleased with. His clients
range from celebrities, like Bruce Fleisher on the
Senior PGA Tour, and a couple of "Presidents" in an
exhibit at Disney World, to the average man or woman.
For the past ten years, John has lead 20-30 hair loss
options seminars annually -- all over the country.
John's articles in newspapers and periodicals have
appeared in puclications throughout the country. He has
authored many articles about hair replacement including
two chapters in an international textbook about hair
replacement techniques(1), has appeared in dozens of
regional and national television news and interview
programs and was most recently interviewed on a top
Toronto radio station about his opinion of former NY
mayor Rudy Guliani's 'comb-over' hair style. (Mr.
Guliani has since changed his look!)
John is a sought-after speaker for hair replacement
symposiums around the country(2) and has been a faculty
member of the American Hair Loss Council (10 year
award), an instructor for hair replacement teaching
programs throughout the country and has addressed the
annual meetings of the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgeons, the World Hair Society Live
Workshop and the American Academy of Cosmetic
Surgeons(3).
John is currently an contributing editor for the
National Hair Journal - the only publication reporting
on all specialties of hair loss, including surgical,
medical and non surgical - options - in one quarterly
news magazine. As a reporter for the NHJ, John regularly
visits hair restoration facilities all over the country
and is widely known by industry
professionals.
